John Altepeter – Principal/Sales
Being raised in a contracting and plumbing wholesale family, John started in the industry immediately after college for Lochinvar Corporation. With stops in manufacturer's rep and wholesale distribution, as well as 13 years directly with AO Smith, his professional career spans from 1993 to current. John started A6 Sales in 2016 and looks forward to continuing the growth and nurturing the next generation of employees for succession. John is romantically and legally tied to the current office manager for almost 30 years and they have four children, residing in Hendersonville, TN. His focus at A6 Sales is outside sales responsibilities for certain Nashville distributors, engineers and architects in Middle Tennessee.
Kendra Altepeter – Office Manager
Kendra manages the back office day to day duties at A6. Beyond working in vain to keep the salesmen focused and on point, she handles the AP/AR, credits and RGA's, coops and contractor programs. She was a pre-K teacher since college and her most important role has been raising four great kids in her likeness (and redirecting when they start to take after the other parental unit). And as the only volunteer employee of the company, she still shows up every day with a smile on her face and eager to please our great customers.
Georgia Jones — Inside Sales/Customer Support
Georgia joined A6 Sales in 2018 after positions including Industrial Engineer and Cost/Sales Engineer. She is a graduate of the engineering school at Vanderbilt and as the lone engineer in a sea of sales people, her organizational skills and critical thinking shine brightly. Georgia will be focused on job quoting and tracking. She will also cover inside sales/customer service as needed. Georgia, her husband of 20+ years and their three daughters reside in Gallatin. They are very active in their church and Georgia is an avid tennis player and reader.
Daly Cull— Outside Sales
Daly Cull started with us in 2022 shortly after finishing his degree at Tennessee Tech. Even though playing at Tech, he is a UT fan (go figure)! Daly grew up in the industry (distribution and contracting) and as another recovering pigskinner returning to his family roots, we are very happy to have him on the team. Daly covers parts of Middle TN and the Eastern end of the state.
Chris Anderson – Outside Sales
Chris joined the A6 team in December 2023 after over a decade in the industry as a journeyman plumber. Having started as an apprentice in 2008, Chris quickly learned exceptional customer service led to repeat business at a time when work was not bountiful. Chris covers West Tennessee and lives in Memphis with his wife. In his free time, he enjoys tinkering on his '92 Honda Acty and training his yellow lab Petey (and voraciously reading installation manuals on our products!)
Mary Ranstad
Mary joined A6 in September of 2024 and has proven to be a very fast study in our industry. She joins us as a recent departure from the manufacturing side where she worked in process and quality capacities. Mary and her husband are both native Tennesseans from Hendersonville. She is also an avid animal lover and fond of 80’s and 90’s music (much appreciated by the X-ers in the office!).
Presley Altepeter
Presley joined the family business in 2024 as our utility infielder handling duties ranging from inventory management to database maintenance and all stops between. Presley is a Six-Sigma black belt and pursuing organizational and operational efficiencies is a passion for her. She plans to pursue this in her next step at Western Carolina University while still working part-time for A6. She has many interests and hobbies and one she is very accomplished at is the "perfect eye-roll" everytime a Dad-joke is thrown at her.
